Why might I receive the message 'login method error'?
When you are signing into a Windows computer joined to the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ domain, you may receive the message stating "You cannot logon because the logon method you are using is not allowed on this computer. Please see your network administrator for more information."

This message indicates that you do not have permission to logon to this computer. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ employees should be able to sign into ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ-owned computers though some departments do have special restrictions. Student workers are the most likely to receive the logon method error when trying to sign in.
In order for a student worker to be able to logon to a computer, their supervisor should fill out the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Computer Access Request form from the ITS Forms page.
