The Ӱ Student Life Office recognizes that one of the benefits to becoming a registered student organizations (RSO’s) is the importance of RSO sponsored events. Pieing or a Pie-in the Face is defined as the act of a pie being received in the face of a participant. Ӱ recognizes the popularity and entertainment value that such RSO sponsored events have within the Ӱ community. However, proper precautions must be in place in order to ensure the proper safety of Ӱ students, faculty, staff and guest participants. Ӱ is committed to maintaining a safe campus environment that supports learning, living and leisure activities within the Ӱ community. Pie-in-the-Face events are to be entertaining and not harmful to participants. RSO sponsored “Pie- in the Face” events and/or fundraisers on university premises must be approved a minimum of 1-week in advance of the event by a designated university office/department/personnel.
