We want to take a moment to remind the campus community about the University's policies regarding scooters, hoverboards, skateboards, and bicycles. These devices are a convenient way to get around campus, but they must be used responsibly to ensure the safety of our community.
Riding Areas: For everyone's safety these devices cannot be used or ridden inside any university building. These devices are not only a safety concern but also can cause damage to the floors. Outside use of these devices should be in areas where there is not heavy pedestrian traffic. Users must always yield to pedestrian traffic.
Speed and Safety: Riders are expected to travel at safe speeds and follow all traffic laws. Electric scooters and bicycles should be operated at reduced speeds in high-traffic areas.
Storage: Storage of electric scooters in university housing facilities is prohibited.

As you may have seen in the news, a massive data leak has exposed over 183 million email and password combinations, including tens of millions linked to Gmail accounts. While this was not a direct breach of Google, the credentials were collected through malware, phishing, and malicious downloads.
Just as we covered in our cybersecurity training, please do not reuse passwords across different services. Reused credentials are especially vulnerable to credential stuffing attacks, where attackers try the same email-password combinations across multiple sites.
To stay secure, we strongly recommend:
If you’re unsure whether your credentials have been compromised, you can check at . If your account is listed in a leaked database or affected service, please change your password immediately anywhere that password has been used.
Let’s all stay vigilant and continue practicing good cyber hygiene.
