Your MyÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ account is free and easy; all it takes is an email address to get started. You can even sign up via Facebook! Once you've logged into MyÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, you can learn everything there is to know about Eastern and get information about everything the university has to offer — all tailored to your unique set of interests!

All students can apply to the graduate school through MyÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. The graduate school requires:

1. A complete online application
2. A copy of your official transcripts
3. A $30 application fee

Application to the Program is also completed through MyÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ.

Materials that will need to uploaded to complete the application process include:

• Current resume or vita
• Statement of professional goals that is a minimum of one paragraph in length. This should outline your previous experiences as well as your reasons and purpose for seeking an MS in Special Education at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ
• Verification of special education licensure or endorsement (in IL, a screenshot of one's ELIS page can be used; other states provide verification in different ways)
• The names and contact information of two people who can serve as professional references

You'll be able to keep tabs on the status of your application through MyÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ; you'll receive a message when you have been officially admitted to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ!

If you are interested in a graduate assistantship, you also need to submit a graduate assistantship application.

Graduate assistantships are typically awarded in accordance with the academic year. Assistantship applications are normally accepted through the middle of February; a decision for the next academic year comes within a month. For more information about graduate assistantships, please click here.
